Cave Kayaking

To begin, you will hop aboard an authentic mining train that will transport you deep into the mine. Next, you’ll put on special neoprene boots, a life jacket, and a mining helmet.

You’ll step into a flooded underground shaft and board your kayak, which can accommodate up to three people. Guided by a professional, you’ll navigate the maze-like passageways of the mine, submerged tunnels, and excavation sites.

As you approach the end, you’ll stroll past abandoned work areas to reach the train station. The mine maintains a constant temperature of 10° C (50° F). Visitors are advised to wear suitable clothing and walking/hiking shoes for this tour. Afterward, enjoy an authentic miner’s lunch and visit the mining museum to complete this unforgettable experience!
